Israeli paratroopers, in partnership with archaeologists, have found the remains of a 2799 year old watchtower in Southern Israel. While the Israel Antiquities Authority would not reveal the exact location, due to security concerns, they say it sits on an elevated location and was likely used as a watchtower for protection around the time of King Hezekiah’s reign.
